A huge thanks to Dorien Kimenai, Nicholas Mills and Chris Tuck from the University of Edinburgh for inviting the young researchers of the IMPRESS consortium, sponsored by the Dutch Heart Foundation. It was a great pleasure to share knowledge on women’s cardiovascular health in Scotland and the Netherlands with impactful talks of MSP Jenni Minto, Minister for Public Health and Women’s Health of Scotland, Gesa Alberts, Kate Womersley, Anna Glassier and all others. We spend two days in the beautiful city of Edinburgh and immersed ourselves in the Scottish culture, including haggis, pubs and a beautiful morning run through the hills. We can learn so much from each other and we have laid great foundations for collaboration between our researchers!
